The 8th annual Genealogy Super Sunday is Sunday, December 12th.

Jewish middle schoolers will be challenged to think about where they came from and who they are today.

This year, Columbus Jewish Historical Society (CJHS) facilitators will be inviting seventh grade students at Congregation Beth Tikvah, Temple Beth Shalom, and Temple Israel to join a session with their parents and/or grandparents either in person or via Zoom. Facilitators will encourage students to share family photos, keepsakes, documents, and other family memorabilia, and explain what they learned from these items. As pre-work, students will design a “Coat of Arms” that represents their families of origin to share with their class.
