New Website Unveiled

A new, upgraded website has been made possible by a major gift from CJHS past president Skip Yassenoff. His vision of providing wider access to our archives is becoming a reality. We will be adding new databases, more oral histories and community memories as well as additional photos and a new Members Only section. It will also be easier to renew your memberships and donate online.

Two of the new features will be a link to the Jewish Columbus Cemetery Mapping Project and a link to Holocaust related information from the archive. The mapping project will link you to a grave locator and enable a visitor to walk to a grave when visiting a local cemetery. The Holocaust section will include Testimony provided by local residents over the years. It has been our goal to make these interviews easily available.

We will also add more information, history and new interviews as they become available. Our last website upgrade occurred in 2013 with a major donation from the Miriam and Bernie Yenkin family. That enabled us to reach more people around the world and introduce them to our wide range of holdings. We are excited to continue this growth.
